We’re on the lookout for a commercially astute and energetic Sales Trainer to join our team at BMS Progress.
This isn’t your typical training role. We don’t expect you to come with years of classroom delivery experience. What we do want is someone with a proven track record in B2B sales and sales management who’s ready to take everything they’ve learned and use it to inspire and develop the next generation of sales professionals.
We’ll give you the tools, training, and support you need to become a confident and impactful trainer—you’ll bring the drive, track record, people skills, and passion for development.
This is your chance to step into a role where you can truly shape careers, share your expertise, and make a lasting impact.
As a Sales Trainer, you will:
· Deliver engaging and interactive workshops to cohorts of learners studying the Level 4 Sales Apprenticeship, covering areas such as:
- Prospecting and lead generation
- Consultative and solution-based selling
- Building and managing client relationships
- Account management and pipeline development
- Negotiation and closing techniques
- Sales planning, forecasting, and territory management
- Using data and insight to drive performance
· Bring sales theory to life through practical exercises, role plays, and case studies that connect to real workplace challenges.
· Inspire, motivate, and challenge learners to build confidence and capability in their sales approach.
· Provide constructive feedback to help learners progress, helping them to embed knowledge and prepare for their End Point Assessment.
· Adapt your delivery style to suit different learner styles, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility.
· Work collaboratively with our Development Coaches and curriculum team to ensure a high-quality learner experience.
· Stay sharp by keeping up-to-date with modern B2B sales practices and weaving them into your training.
We’d love to hear from you if you:
· Have proven success in B2B sales (consultative selling, business development, account management, solution selling, sales management).
· Can translate real-world sales expertise into practical, inspiring learning.
· Are a confident communicator and a natural people-person who can engage groups.
· Are passionate about helping others succeed and grow in their careers.
· Are organised, adaptable, and committed to delivering a first-class learner experience.
· Have experience in training or apprenticeships (welcome but absolutely not essential).
At BMS Progress, we’re not just a training provider—our motto is to improve performance and progress careers.
As a Sales Trainer, you’ll be the face of BMS Progress, working with world-class brands, inspiring learners, and playing a key role in developing the next generation of sales leaders, within a supportive, professional, and forward-thinking environment.
